Dear Rowing families,

Our MIC, Mr Tom Herborn is taking some paternity leave in preparation for the safe arrival of his first child. Mr Herborn will begin leave from Thursday July 24 through to August 15 inclusive. Mr Herborn will return to rowing on Saturday August 16.

In the interim, Ms Giarley To (Year 8-9 rowers) and Mr Jesse Rigsby-Jones (Year 10-12 rowers) will be working together to continue the wonderful work and maintain momentum for this year’s BSRA rowing season. If you have any questions/concerns during these next few weeks, please reach out to either Ms To, Mr Rigsby-Jones in the first instance. As normal, Mr David Miles (Director of QGSSSA and Girls Activities) and I are also a point of contact if the need arises.

We would also like to thank Ms Sullivan and Mr Dwyer who have also offered to undertake extra supervision to support our rowers over the next few weeks and during this season. We would like to wish Mr Herborn and his wife Ali all the very best for their journey into parenthood.
